Is RaptorPass Bitwarden?
No. RaptorPass is an independent service built on Vaultwarden, an open-source server compatible with Bitwarden clients. Your users can use Bitwarden extensions and apps with your vault. RaptorPass is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bitwarden, Inc.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. The 30-day trial starts without a credit card, once your email address is verified. All features are available during the trial.
With SSO, do my users still need a master password?
Yes. SSO proves the user's identity, but the vault is encrypted with a key derived from the master password, which your identity provider does not know. The master password is requested every time the vault is unlocked.
Does SSO synchronise my directory?
No. No users or groups are imported automatically, and SCIM is not supported. You invite members and manage groups in the vault. When an employee leaves, write to support to disable their account and free their seat.
Can admins see all passwords?
The organisation's owners and admins can access all collections from the admin console. Members' personal items, outside the organisation, are not affected.
Can you read our passwords?
No. Data is encrypted on your devices before it reaches our servers, and we do not know the master passwords. Some metadata, such as account email addresses, is not encrypted. Our Security page explains these points in detail.
Where is our data hosted?
In the hosting zone you choose at sign-up, together with the backups. Auxiliary services (payment, email) and their locations are published in the list of subprocessors.
How are seats counted?
A seat is an active user account; a pending invitation also takes a seat. Subscriptions start at 10 seats. You can add more from your customer portal.
Can I get my data back if I leave?
Yes. You can export your vault at any time. At the end of the trial or subscription, a grace period gives you time to do so before deletion.
Which languages is the service available in?
RaptorPass is available in French, English, Spanish and German: the website, the customer portal and emails.
