Accept the invitation

1. Open the invitation email and click the button in it: your vault opens in the browser.
2. Create your account with the email address that received the invitation.
3. Choose your master password, in the "Master password" field of the web vault.

Can't find the email? Check your spam folder, then ask your administrator to resend the invitation.

Choose a good master password

It's the only password you need to remember: it encrypts your data on your device.

• Use a phrase of four or five unrelated words: it's long, strong and easy to remember.
• Don't reuse it anywhere else.
• Write it down and keep it somewhere safe, outside your vault.

This password is never sent to RaptorPass. If it is lost, nobody can recover your data.

Wait for confirmation

Your administrator then confirms your access. You receive an email once that's done, and shared passwords appear after a sync. You can install your apps without waiting.

Install RaptorPass on your devices

Choose your device. Start with the browser extension: it's what fills in your passwords on websites.

Protect your account with two-step login

Recommended: even with your master password, nobody can sign in without your phone or security key.

1. In the web vault, open "Settings", then "Security", then "Two-step login".
2. Choose "Authenticator app" and scan the code with the app of your choice.
3. Choose "View recovery code" and keep this code somewhere safe: you'll need it if you lose your phone.
